Hi

Im inspiring in CA patches from NordModular and Modular G2 http://electro-music.com/forum/viewtopi ... ar&t=20176

In Scope Modular is not possible make true CA - not include bit counter module !

And Max/MSP - i not making patches for Max but very usefull chaotic library is there http://www.s373.net/code/A-Chaos-Lib/A-Chaos.html (not included CA but some great algos )

Max/MSP is scripting and visual tools for audio - like CWmodular or Ni-Reaktor but low level programing and macros. See this page http://www.cycling74.com/

Ty for infos Kamil. There is a cellular automata for reaktor but i'm not patching under reaktor... And no readymade abstractions for max. Perhaps i'll try to build one someday, but before i'll must understand how this algo work :o
Stardust: users are free to build their own interfaces for there patch under Max, and there a lot of powerfull tool for that... see, for example:

Max is an incredible versatile tool, but sound like all other native audiotool: very far under cwmodular!

 didn't know that there are customized UIs for Max. I saw a lot Lemur OSC patches and they were all pretty ugly.
But this looks much more like user interfaces
