Hi,

Just a try to make a shepard tone generator. There is a pb with the LFO freq/delays ms ratio. Perhaps somebody will know how to fix it.
Wait a moment (1/2mn) for the patch give all his sound. Better with lot of effect (psy Q, chorus, phaser, delay...)

Never heard of Shepard tones before, just read about it - will be interesting to hear your application of it. Oh and it's considered a bit 'friendlier' to use .zips if you can - from my OS9 days i remember .rars were a pain (although i think there's a free .rar program available now).

just for a laugh i made a synth like this, you could play down the keyboard and any note would sound the same as the octave above or below it. you could continuously play down or up the keyboard.

I'm not sure to understand what is your problem: just open and listen!

@ReD_MuZe: i'm very glad you like my patch. Idea come from a doepfer module, that work like a "shepard LFO" wich work with a lot of outputs that divide the LFO's phase . Very handy for modulate anything with the shepard principle. (Oh: no, i'm not a doepfer modular owner  ).
Perhaps an idea for flexor 3.5
